Salmagundy

Use any variety of these ingredients or add your own:

 

  • The white meat of turkey or chicken, sliced

  • Hard boiled eggs, sliced

  • Pickled or plain cooked beetroot, shredded, sliced or whole (plain will need seasoning)

  • Pickled red cabbage

  • Cooked ham, sliced or cut into strips

  • Varying colors of lettuce leaves and/or herbs

  • Cucumbers

  • Pickles

  • salt & pepper

  • Oil and vinegar for dressing

  • Butter (use for sticking the ingredients to the bowl)

 

  1. Grease the outside of an upturned bowl or dish and arrange all of the ingredients in a decorative pattern.
